How to make Wee Lil Angel Wings-Photoprop
Admit it many of us have bought chincy little angel wings as props. I have found most of them to be of poor quality and definitely not made for a newborn, nor are they very comfortable! So I set out to make my own, here is how!
How to make wee lil angel wings. Gather your supplies you will need:
-Loose feather
-Matching boa
-Hot glue gun and glue sticks
-Scissors
-Rice
-Matching Felt
Start off by cutting your felt square or circular shape, I would say generally a 2x2 or 3x3 will probably do if you are using it on a newborn.
Fill you’re felt with your rice, I recommend doing this over a trash can. Now glue the edges completely shut.
Now glue your loose feathers around the outside of the felt. I glued about 6 feathers on each side. Note my feathers are short (you can cut them down). I also recommend having your feathers all face the same direction.
Lastly take your boa and wrap it around the bottom edge of the felt, not the very bottom, probably a ¼ of the way up.
Tada! Quick and easy and now you have the cutest little angel wing props!
Here is the white pair in action (photo taken by me).
