Love for Ava

Say hello to Ava and her family - she is one amazing little girl!
Ava has a brain tumor that was discovered on December 6th, 2011.
Her tumor is called Diffused Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). This is a very rare and aggressive tumor. It cannot be removed because of the the location and the standard treatment of radiation does work, but then the tumor grows back and there is nothing that can be done at that point expect make the patient comfortable. 90% of children diagnosed with DIPG pass away within one year and the remaining children pass away within 3 years.

Since that diagnosis Ava and her family traveled from Texas to Arizona so that she could participate in a clinical trial.  Unfortunately a few days ago they received some terrible news - Ave is out of the clinical trial in Phoenix because the tumor has progressed.

So here is where you all come in!  December of last year I hosted an auction for Ava and her family to help ease the burden that comes with this sort of devastating situation.  The auction raised over $2000 for the Dawson family in just one week.  I would love to top that this time!

How can you help?
