Free Action! The new and improved eyelove2
This action works in Photoshop and Photoshop Elements
It has two layers, definition and brightness and contrast.
The definition layer: Use a soft white brush on the black layer mask to define the eye and eye lashes, I also use it on the nostril, mouth, eye brows and hair.
The brightness/contrast layer: Use a soft white brush on the black layer mask and color on the iris and pupil. This will brighten and enhance the catchlights without changing the actual color of the eyes.
Download the free eyelove2 action >here<
Works great on light eyes
and also works great on darker eyes

Hello .. I have a problem with the action works, but something like this pops up "Object" layer "Background" is not currently available. After filling in the black color.
ReplyDeleteMake sure to have your image flattened before running the action. If it continues to give you trouble uninstall the action and install it again.
ReplyDeleteThe image is flattened because it is a picture from the camera once already so I've tried and nothing: /
ReplyDeleteOnly that I open a picture straight from the camera and you can not flatten and reinstall also give nothing.
ReplyDeleteWow just tried your eye action and I love it. Its better than the one i bought from MCP and it was not free. Thanks
ReplyDeleteWell, and I do not share my picture comes straight from the camera to flatten the image so I can not retry the installation again and have nothing. Please tell me how to do that went
ReplyDeleteAre you using the English version of PS or PSE? If not it may not work.
ReplyDeleteI use Polish version
ReplyDeleteIt probably won't work since the commands are in English
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome and like others I have all brown eyed beauties! Great action thank you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this, Morgan! Ashley Sisk shared this on her blog today and I had to come check it out! Looks awesome! :)
ReplyDeleteI am having trouble... White brush is selected, black mask is selected, image is flattened... But when I draw over the eyes no change (and nothing is showing up on black mask).. help plz!
ReplyDeleteMake sure your brush is set to normal at the top of your screen.
ReplyDeleteHi Morgan,
ReplyDeleteWhen I use the white brush on the definition area, nothing happens, should it? Then,
when I use the white brush on the brightness layer, the eye area is almost completely white. Help???
Make sure you're on the layer mask, the one to the far right.
ReplyDeleteMorgan Kervin - I have CS5 and I cannot get this to work. Help, please. If you want to email me I am at ctr7510@aol.com.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
So I delivered a gallery wrap today and the client just kept going on and on and on about how "sparkly" her kids eyes were, she just couldn't get over it, so once again I MUST Thank you for eye love 2
ReplyDeleteKatherine
Thanks for doing this free action! I downloaded both versions for Photoshop. For some reason, only shiny works for the 1st one and only bright/contract works for the 2nd one - not sure what I'm doing wrong? Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing this beautiful action. So eager to try it out! Your work is stunning.
ReplyDeleteOh my...I have tried several different "eye sparkle" actions but this is by FAR the best one. I love that I have so much freedom with this action. My photo-editing just went up another few notches! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI am totally new to this. I have loaded the actions but how do I run it? The play button is not highlighted?
ReplyDeleteNevermind...figured it out...stupid me
ReplyDeleteHi, could you tell me please - just using the trial on Photoshop and have loaded the action, press the start button and it all flicks through but no result - what have I missed?
DeleteI just posted my first two images using your action and PSE10 for the first time...I love how easy it was...Thank you

I uploaded the action, however, I am confused with whats next! Am I supposed to do something before I hit the "play" button to run the action? Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHI- I loaded this into my PSE 10 for Mac, and when I run it, it doesn't change the image at all. Image is straight out of the camera. Is there something else I need to do to it?
ReplyDeleteI followed instructions to install and it's in the program. I apply it, but don't see any difference. I am brand new to elements and haven't used effects yet. I have Windows 8 and am using Elements 12
ReplyDeleteDo you happen to have screen shots of the steps to use the action? I figured out the upload which is the first time I have used an action. I found it in the actions tab, selected the eyes, and then pressed play, but it doesn't seem to be working as expected :(
ReplyDeleteI just downloaded this action, and when I run it over my picture the definition works well, but the brightness/contrast is struggling I think? When I paint in the layer mask with a white brush the whole eye turns white. Is it the blending mode that should be changed or am I doing something wrong?
